You might ask yourself, who's behind all this Homemade craft, Here i tell you that and others thing that you may or may not wanted to know...

My name is ... well, short story is that i was mean to be named Mary since my Mom name was Maria.. she want it to be the same in English, but she forgot after the birth delivery that we were living in the Dominican Republic (a Spanish speaking country) and when they heard the pronunciation and called me Meuris.  I'm just a home cook, candle, soap, body scrub maker, a little sewing and  animal lover, Dominican and I live in Nueva York (Harlem).  I always loved to cook and do Handmade products and craft ... and eat, since i was 8 years old, when i start cooking and making little projects at home , dishes, dessert , face lotion, hair treatment, candles, soaps, with my grandmother back home, I still remember the first time she have to travel to the city from the farm to get supply for the house, and she will stay overnight, she told me.. Yani (my family call me like that) today you are in charge of the kitchen... breakfast, lunch and dinner and thats how this journey begins.  After moving to NYC in April 2011, I developed and passion taking pictures of any craft i create. This is a collection of some of my work and all kinds of things  I like to make.  Gracias por visitar y disfruta!!!!

Update: Hey everyone Im back , after a very difficult life decision on moving from New York to North Carolina, I took a long break, is been almost over a year and a half since I posted or wrote anything here, but i have a lot good projects and things I been putting together and is time to put plans into actions…. stay tune and i be back soon, this time i wont take too long. oh and by the way Im loving the south.
